Rose provided an open-ended answer.

As of this writing, two full years have passed since Mandy Rose was released from WWE after dropping the NXT Championship in December 2022.

In the time since then, Rose has made a multitude of media appearances and has been asked if she’ll ever return to in-ring competition. She was asked about that again while appearing on Highspots’ Virtual Gimmick Table.

Rose reiterated that she’s not sure and provided what she described as an ‘open-ended answer.’

To answer your question, I’m not sure (when I’ll wrestle again). I don’t know if I have an answer for that. I know it’s the famous question. I get asked all day, every day about it. I feel like there may be some unfinished business in the ring of Mandy Rose and especially how things ended. However, I don’t also know if I — I don’t know. I don’t know where or when that will be; at the right time, at the right place and what that looks like because it’s such a what if thing. I’m really enjoying my life right now and all the opportunities I have and everything that I’m doing outside of wrestling and obviously involving wrestling as well like here (at Highspots). But, yeah, I really don’t know. I know it’s a very open-ended answer… But, yeah, that’s all I got for you for that.

In 2024, Rose partook in a wrestler’s combine for the Black Label Pro promotion. Her last sanctioned match was the aforementioned bout against Perez in late 2022.

Rose’s exit from the company derived from WWE becoming aware of the content she was posting onto her personal FanTime page, which garnered her a million dollars in a single month.
