TNA iMPACT notes: Josh Alexander’s final match, Jazz returns, two World Title bouts on 2/13, Fraxiom retains

Scheduled for the 2/13 episode of TNA iMPACT is Josh Alexander’s final match in the promotion. He’ll be going one-on-one with Eric Young.

There was a Battle Royal to determine the challenger to Masha Slamovich’s Knockouts World Championship on 2/13. Two-time WWE Women’s Champion Jazz returned to in-ring competition to compete in the Battle Royal. It was her first match since 2021. Also during the bout, Alisha Edwards eliminated her tag partner Tasha Steelz. Shortly after, Edwards was tossed out by Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat). Coming out of the match victorious was Savannah Evans and she’ll be challenging Slamovich for the title.

There is going to be a TNA World Championship defense on 2/13 as Joe Hendry puts the title on the line against Jake Something.

In the main event, Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) successfully defended the NXT Tag Team Championships against Ryan Nemeth and Nic Nemeth.

On commentary, Tom Hannifan stated that TNA does not recognize Steph De Lander and Mance Warner’s claim that they are both the Digital Media Champion.

After Tasha Steelz was eliminated from the aforementioned Battle Royal by her partner Alisha Edwards, she was shown backstage with her hands covering her face. She was approached by Mustafa Ali, who comforted her and told her that together, they’ll make sure that never happens to her again.

Adding on to the lineup for 2/13 is the following:

  • Frankie Kazarian vs. Sami Callihan
  • Cora Jade vs. Xia Brookside

A singles match between Ace Austin and NXT’s Tyson Dupont took place and it was Austin scoring the win. Post-match, Wes Lee, Dupont and Tyriek Igwe jumped Austin but The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) made the save.
