NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka notes: Yota Tsuji vs. Gabe Kidd ends in double KO draw, attendance number, Jr. Tag Title challengers

On the marquee for NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka was the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship match between Gabe Kidd and the champion Yota Tsuji. The match ended in a double knockout draw because neither talent was able to maintain a standing position for a full 10 count. After the bell sounded, the two talents threw headbutts at each other, but it was Kidd throwing one last forearm to drop Tsuji to the mat. House of Torture would join the mix to jump both talents. EVIL and Dick Togo appeared shortly afterwards and EVIL acted as if he was helping Tsuji to his feet, but then dropped him with his ‘Everything is Evil’ finisher. Ren Narita went after Kidd. Clark Connors, Kidd’s stablemate in BULLET CLUB War Dogs, did not immediately jump to Kidd’s defense. Connors was on commentary. EVIL then proclaimed that War Dogs are no longer a part of BULLET CLUB. Connors attempted to get into the ring, but he was taken out.

There was an attendance number of 5,502 inside EDION Arena Osaka.

The duo of Kosei Fujita and Robbie Eagles successfully defended the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles against Rocky Romero and YOH. During the bout, Eagles did a dive to the outside but his leg got wrapped on the guardrail. He made his way back into the match but was favoring the leg. Post-match, Taiji Ishimori showed up and said him and Robbie X want a shot at the Tag Titles.
