Tony Khan feels any of the final four matches at AEW Revolution could’ve main evented

Tony Khan was asked about Toni Storm and Mariah May not main eventing.

To cap off the post-AEW Revolution media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm and Mariah May’s long-term storyline reaching its climax at Revolution and it not being the main event.

Khan mentioned several times that May and Storm headlined Grand Slam Australia and praised that match.

He went on to state that any of the final four matches at Revolution could have closed the pay-per-view and those matches took place in this order:

  • AEW Women’s World Championship — ‘The Hollywood Ending’ Falls Count Anywhere Match: ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm (c) (w/ Luther) def. Mariah May
  • AEW International Championship: Kenny Omega def. Konosuke Takeshita (c) (w/ Don Callis)
  • Steel Cage Match: Will Ospreay def. Kyle Fletcher (w/ Don Callis)
  • AEW World Championship — Three-Way Match: Jon Moxley (c) def. Christian Cage and Cope
