Moose shares a photo with CM Punk after NXT.
One of the championship matches on the marquee for NXT Roadblock from The Theater at Madison Square Garden was TNA X Division Champion Moose challenging Oba Femi for the NXT Championship.
Coming out of the bout victorious was Femi and post-match, Moose took to social media to share high praise for Femi.
Later in the day, Moose shared a photo of himself and CM Punk and noted that when he was World Champion in TNA, there were plans for Punk to head to the promotion so they can feud.
So while I was World Champ there were plans of Punk coming to TNA and us Fueding. Punk vs Lesnar from SS2013 is one of my favorites matches ever. I was looking forward to recreating something just as awesome. But Obviously it never happened but who Knows. Shout out to @CMPunk GOAT.
Moose had two TNA World Title reigns and those lasted from October 2021 until April 2022 and then January 2024 to July 2024.
Punk visited the promotion when they had shows in Illinois.
