Two names advance to the quarterfinals.
NJPW continued with their New Japan Cup tournament at Uwajima Gymnasium on March 12th. The show featured two tournament matches to determine who is moving on to the quarterfinals.
Gabe Kidd took on Taichi in a tournament match, but he was eliminated via count out after he was attacked by House of Torture.
