Her first defense of the title.

At Wrestle Dynasty in January, Mercedes Moné scored a win over Mina Shirakawa in a double title match. Moné’s NJPW STRONG Women’s Title was on the line and Shirakawa’s RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship was up for grabs.

For the first time since capturing the title, a title defense date and opponent is locked in for Moné. She’ll be heading to the U.K. in April for RevPro’s High Stakes event on the 20th of that month. Her opponent will be Kanji.

It is scheduled to be Moné’s second independent wrestling match since 2012. Her first took place at House of Glory ‘City of Dreamz’ on 3/15 where she defeated Indi Hartwell.
