GUNTHER’s reign as champion comes to an end.
Starting off the in-ring action at WrestleMania 41 night one was the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Jey Uso and the champion GUNTHER.
GUNTHER had been reigning as champion since SummerSlam 2024. His reign came to an end at WrestleMania at the hands of Uso.
The backend of the match saw Uso hit multiple Uso Splashes onto GUNTHER. He then put a sleeper hold onto the champion and submitted him to capture the World Heavyweight Championship.
Post-match, Jimmy Uso made his way into the ring to celebrate with his brother.
