
The tour kicks off.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling kicked off their 2025 Wrestling Dontaku tour at Korakuen Hall. The show featured Jeff Cobb’s final match in the promotion and there was a 10-man elimination tag match to close the show.
There were a total of 1,505 fans in attendance and below are the complete results:

Naito and BUSHI are going to be departing New Japan after the Wrestling Dontaku tour wraps on May 4th.
Following the 4/19 show, both addressed the crowd inside Korakuen Hall. BUSHI stated that he does regret his decision as a lot of thought went into it. For his remaining dates, he’ll continue coming to the ring with utter gratitude.
Naito briefly spoke about their pending exits before doing the signature L.I.J. sign off. In his backstage comments, Naito said it’s probably his last Korakuen show as an NJPW-contracted wrestler.
Hiromu Takahashi chimed in and said it’s a difficult situation. IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji gave his remarks and closed by saying it’s up to the new generation of NJPW talents to lead the company into the future.
