If Femi had a manager, it’d have to be someone on Heyman’s level.

For over 100 days, Oba Femi has reigned as NXT Champion. His latest title defense was at the Stand & Deliver Premium Live Event and he overcame Je’Von Evans and Trick Williams in a Triple Threat to retain.

Fresh off the title defense, Femi sat down with Tyler Breeze for a Fanatics Live signing. One of the questions asked of Femi had to do with the idea of him having a manager. He does not want one but if he did have a manager, he’d want it to be someone cut from the same cloth as Paul Heyman.

Well, that’s a situation of necessity. I don’t indulge in things if I don’t need to. If I feel like I don’t need a manager, I wouldn’t have a manager. A lot of guys feel like they need a manager because they need a mouthpiece. I do not need a mouthpiece. The Ruler can represent himself just fine. But if the day comes, it would have to be someone of a (Paul) Heyman caliber to represent The Ruler because for someone as special as The Ruler, you need a manager equally as special.

Paul Heyman formed a new alliance with Seth Rollins and the newest member, Bron Breakker, was officially added to that alliance on the Raw after WrestleMania.
