Bryan Danielson has spoken about the chances of a return to the ring.
Speaking to Jamal Niaz of JNMEDIAUK in London on Friday, Danielson said, “It’s not no chance, but it’s risk versus reward at this point.”
The former WWE and AEW Champion was in the UK for the Chris Eubank Jr. vs Conor Benn boxing fight, which takes place on Saturday night.
Niaz spoke to Danielson at the weigh-in. He noted that fans want to see Danielson return to get revenge on Jon Moxley. Danielson responded, “Yeah, but my neck is wrecked.”
When asked if there is no chance of a return, he said:
So it’s not no chance, but it’s risk versus reward at this point, right? I want to be able to live comfortably with my wife and kids.
One of the things our society has a real problem with is realizing when enough is enough, and I’m very satisfied with my career, and I think enough is enough, you know?
Danielson was also asked which wrestlers he has had the best chemistry with. He replied:
I’ve always had great chemistry with Jon Moxley, I’ve always had great chemistry with Claudio Castagnoli. In AEW, I had great chemistry with Hangman Adam Page, and he’s fantastic. I’ve only wrestled him twice, but I had great chemistry with Swerve Strickland, so there’s a lot of guys on that list.
