** Adam Cole came out to join Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness on commentary to kick off the show from the Adrian Phillips Theater at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

** Throughout the show, the announcers reminded the audience that next week’s edition of Collision will air live on Thursday on TBS.

** AEW Women’s Champion defeated Lady Frost in a competitive title eliminator match, and then cut a promo before heading outdoors to the Atlantic City boardwalk.

** Jon Moxley appeared on video with Marina Shafir to preview his steel cage match against Samoa Joe at Beach Break on May 14th. Moxley said Joe was beyond reproach, but so was Bryan Danielson.

** The $100,000 four-way match involving Rush, AR Fox, Sammy Guevara and Kevin Knight was up next. Unsurprisingly, it was an all-action affair with bodies flying everywhere.

Sammy Guevara picked up the win with a pinfall on AR Fox. He then signaled to Adam Cole that he wanted a shot at the TNT Championship.

** In another video package, Samoa Joe answered Moxley, vowing to become AEW Champion.

** Harley Cameron gave a good account of herself in a very competitive loss to Megan Bayne. The Australian got in a lot of offense and multiple near-falls in a fairly lengthy match, but had to deal with Penelope Ford as well as her powerhouse opponent.

As Bayne continued to attack Cameron after the match, Anna Jay came to the rescue with a two-by-four, with mixed results. A future tag match seems likely.

** Moxley and Shafir took out security guards and stormed the ring. Moxley said he had faced the baddest guys in every promotion all over the world. He talked up the cage match with Samoa Joe as a war.

** The Outrunners cut a backstage promo on Roppongi Vice after having been attacked by them the previous week.

** It was a physical battle as Josh Alexander and Brody King faced off. Alexander relentlessly attacked the larger man’s leg in an attempt to ground him. The entertaining match went the distance to a 15-minute time-limit draw.

After the bell, Lance Archer came to the ring to attack but King was equal to him. Archer and Alexander briefly teamed up to attack King before they retreated to the back.

** Max Caster was out for his open challenge. He said his “next victim” couldn’t last five minutes with him. Daniel Garcia answered the call. Garcia pinned Caster well within the five minutes — in 59 seconds to be precise. Garcia then addressed FTR. He said he would talk to them after they handled their business in the main event.

** Gates of Agony made short work of Ray Jaz & Goldy. After the match, they were called out on the big screen to the parking lot by Big Bill and Bryan Keith. Sure enough, the four brawled.

** The final 20-plus minutes of the show was given over to the 2/3 falls match between FTR and Paragon. The first fall went to Paragon after Dax tactically tapped quickly to an ankle lock from Kyle O’Reilly. The action then spilled outside the ring. FTR got a fall back when Roderick Strong succumbedbed to the Shatter Machine.

The third and deciding fall was taken by FTR as Dax pinned O’Reilly after Paragon thought they had the match won.

As the show was about to go off air, Daniel Garcia ran to the ring with a crowbar. He told FTR he was looking for answers after what they did to Cope. He said he would beat the answers out of them next week.
