Shotzi is departing WWE as her contract has expired and will not be renewed.

The news was first reported by Fightful, after it was noted that she had been moved to the Alumni section of the WWE website.

The 33-year-old later posted to X:

I am more than grateful for the wild ride! Can’t wait to see where this crazy journey takes me next! I hope to make all my believers proud.

That statement received a repost from Charlotte Flair, who voiced her support.

Shotzi is now considered a free agent. The non-renewal of her contract means she joins a growing list of those who have parted ways with WWE this weekend.

She signed with WWE in late 2019 after making a name for herself on the independent circuit. She debuted on the NXT brand, becoming known for her punk-rock aesthetic, green hair, and signature tank entrance.

In March 2021 she captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside partner Ember Moon.

Shotzi moved to the main roster as part of SmackDown in July 2021, initially teaming with Tegan Nox before that team was split shortly after in the WWE Draft.

She remained a fixture on SmackDown, competing in Money in the Bank ladder matches and having notable feuds, including one with Damage CTRL, which involved her head being shaved as part of the storyline. She pitched that idea herself because her sister was going through chemotherapy and she wanted to support her.

She had been sidelined since February 2024 after suffering a torn ACL during a match against Lyra Valkyria at an NXT taping.

Shotzi had only recently returned to NXT television in late 2024 following her recovery, forming an alliance with Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley before this departure.
