It was a mixed picture for NXT on Tuesday, as viewing figures delayed by the Memorial Day holiday emerged.

Overall viewership fell week on week from 697,000 to 650,000, representing a dip of 7%.

The viewership figure equals the lowest that NXT has drawn this calendar year. The April 1st broadcast also attracted 650,000 viewers.

However, the 18-49 key demographic rating was up compared with the previous week from 0.13 to 0.14 — a rise of 8%.

It was a noteworthy edition of the show, bookended by two title changes. Ricky Saints was dethroned as North American Champion by Ethan Page in the opening match, and Jacy Jayne won the NXT Women’s Title from Stephanie Vaquer in the main event.

The show faced stiff competition in the form of the NBA Eastern Conference finals game between the Knicks and Pacers on TNT, which averaged a 1.78 rating and 5,910,000 viewers.
