Carlito stated via social media on Sunday that his WWE contract will expire in two weeks and will not be renewed.

Dios me los bendiga!
The 46-year-old competed on Saturday night in Puerto Rico at WWC Summer Madness 2025. He defeated Ray Gonzalez to win the Puerto Rico Championship.
Carlito had two runs with WWE.
Debuting on SmackDown in October 2004, he made an immediate impact by defeating John Cena for the United States Championship in his first match.
He would later capture the Intercontinental Championship from Shelton Benjamin at Unforgiven in June 2005, making him one of the few wrestlers to win a title on both his Raw and SmackDown debuts.
Carlito’s first stint with the company ended in May 2010.
He made sporadic appearances in subsequent years, including a return at the 2021 Royal Rumble and a match at Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico, before officially re-signing with WWE later that year.
His most recent run saw him primarily featured on the SmackDown brand, first involved with the LWO and later forming a new alliance with members of The Judgment Day.
