
WWE is promoting that Olympic gold medalist Tamyra Mensah-Stock will make her in-ring debut on NXT tonight.
Mensah-Stock, who wrestles as Tyra Mae Steele, is set to wrestle on tonight’s episode from the WWE Performance Center.
Mensah-Stock won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 in freestyle wrestling, adding to her decorated resume, including gold medals at the World Championships, Pan-Am Games, and Pan American Championships.
After winning the medal, she made an appearance at the WWE SummerSlam event in Las Vegas in August 2021 and signed with WWE two years later.
While tonight will be her first match on NXT programming, she has been wrestling since March 2024, including appearances on Level Up, live events, and being the winner of the inaugural season of LFG on A&E.
