OZAWA retained the GHC Heavyweight Championship at NOAH’s Star Navigation event in a Survival 3-Way Match.
OZAWA continued his championship reign by defeating former Team 2000X member Tetsuya Endo and Takashi Sugiura in the main event of Wednesday’s card at Korakuen Hall in front of 1,233 fans.
The match was set up last month after Endo left Team 2000X and forged a temporary alliance with Sugiura. OZAWA defended the title against KENTA on May 18 and was immediately challenged by Endo. It was OZAWA who called out Sugiura and proposed the three-way survival match.
Wednesday’s main event featured Sugiura turning on Endo and joining Team 2000X himself, as OZAWA retained the championship and pinned Endo after hitting the Real Rebel. Sugiura was eliminated earlier in the match by Endo.
The show featured YO-HEY retaining the GHC Jr. Heavyweight title against Junta Miyawaki with the Super Gamen G.
There was one championship switch on the card as Manabu Soya & Daiki Inaba secured the GHC tag titles from Kenoh & Ulka Sasaki after a short four-week reign as champions.
In a match to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of his debut, Atsushi Kotoge defeated veteran Super Delfin.
