
AEW Dynamite suffered a major decline coming off Grand Slam Mexico and airing against the NBA Draft.
The June 25 episode from Kent, Washington, fell to 613,000 viewers and 198,000 viewers (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic on TBS. This doesn’t include additional streaming viewership on Max.
The audience fell by 17 percent from Grand Slam Mexico, while the 18-49 audience saw a sizable drop of 31 percent and recording the show’s third-lowest mark in the demo.
In the core demo, males fell by 25 percent to 122,000 viewers, and females dropped by 38 percent to 76,000 viewers from last week’s levels.
Adults 18-34 saw less of a hit, falling by 14 percent with an average of 72,000 viewers in the demo.
Adults 35-49 dropped by 38 percent this week.
Wrestlenomics reports that the show ranked fifth on cable on Wednesday, which was led by ESPN’s coverage of the NBA Draft, which averaged 1,995,000 viewers and 0.67 in the 18-49 demographic.
Dynamite was advertised around Kota Ibushi’s first match in AEW since 2023, a pair of Casino Gauntlet qualifying matches, and headlined by Hangman Page taking on The Beast Mortos.
