Former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion will miss this Friday’s show.
NJPW has revealed that Goto has sustained a right elbow injury during his match with Zack Sabre Jr. on Sunday and will miss Friday’s New Japan Soul event at Tokyo Budokan.
Goto is scheduled for this summer’s G1 Climax tournament as a member of Block A. The tournament begins on July 19 and runs until August 17.
