AEW Dynamite’s 300th episode saw the show’s viewership fall, but increased its audience in the core demographic.

The July 2 special from Ontario, California, averaged 584,000 viewers and 215,000 viewers (0.16) in the 18-49 demographic, which doesn’t include the audience streaming on Max.

The audience declined by five percent from last week’s episode, while the 18-49 demographic grew by nine percent. The demo increase was a result of males increasing from 122,000 to 148,000 viewers this week. Females in the demo dropped by twelve percent.

It was Dynamite’s lowest audience since May 21, which aired against the NBA & NHL playoffs.

Dynamite ranked eighth among cable programs in prime time, which was led by a CONCACAF semi-final game between the U.S. and Guatemala with 1,240,000 viewers and 0.40 in 18-49 on FS1. There was also an MLB game between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Guardians, which ranked second with 1,102,000 viewers and 0.28 in the demo on ESPN.

Dynamite also ranked behind multiple programs on Fox News and Holmes Family Rescue on HGTV.

The 300th episode was headlined by Kazuchika Okada vs. Kota Ibushi and included the return of Kenny Omega at the end.
