Trish Stratus has joined the lineup for WWE Evolution 2025.

Challenging for a singles title for the first time since 2006, Stratus will take on WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at the July 13 Premium Live Event (PLE) at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Stratton was given the opportunity to pick her opponent for Evolution on this week’s episode of Smackdown. She summoned Stratus, whom she teamed with at Elimination Chamber earlier this year, for a championship meeting.

The winner of the match will go on to face 2025 Queen of the Ring winner Jade Cargill at Summerslam.

Stratus has made sporadic appearances for WWE in recent years, including in this year’s women’s Royal Rumble match. The upcoming bout will be her first time going up against Stratton in singles action.

Stratton, who currently has the seventh-longest reign with the women’s title, will be trying to defend it for the sixth time when she meets Stratus in a little over a week’s time.

It was also announced Friday that Jade Cargill and Naomi will meet in a No Holds Barred match at Evolution. The bout was confirmed after Naomi attacked Cargill on Smackdown, using her 2025 Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase to strike her in the back.

The bout will be a rematch from Wrestlemania 41, when the returning Cargill beat Naomi in nine minutes.

Evolution now has a title match from all three of WWE’s main brands. Here’s an updated look at the card:

  • Battle Royal for title shot at Clash In Paris
  • Naomi vs. Jade Cargill (No Holds Barred)
  • Jacy Jayne vs. Jordynne Grace (NXT Women’s Championship)
  • Tiffany Stratton vs. Trish Stratus (WWE Women’s Championship)
  • IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley (WWE Women’s World Championship)
