Sean Waltman has added his name to the list of WrestleMania guests who were harassed by fans over the weekend.
Waltman weighed in after coverage of the incident involving CM Punk and a fan filming AJ Lee and Bayley:
From Waltman:
That guy & all the rest like him can get fucked. It was insane how these people were. I got physically assaulted & camera shoved in my face, stalked in the bathroom, & more.
I stopped by the Horseshoe for an event & the fans were totally respectful, just said hi, & let you be.
I dont have a problem w people taking pictures or recording in public. It’s when you invade someone’s space, stick cameras in peoples faces, I have a problem with that.
The Horseshoe was the hotel that housed The Collective series of shows all week while WWE talent was stationed at the MGM Grand Hotel. It has been noted that due to MGM’s attachment to a casino, anyone can venture and there were less barriers between talent and fans.
Booker T. shared that a fan filmed him inside a bathroom and called it “The worst I’ve ever seen” when it came to fans swarming performers.
Waltman serves as a coach for WWE ID talent and was in Las Vegas to induct Dennis Rodman into the WWE Hall of Fame.
