Monday Night Breakker

WWE Raw from Omaha kicked off with Roman Reigns arriving at the arena and Adam Pearce telling him that Jacob Fatu wasn’t there yet. Seth Rollins appeared and told Roman he was in his way as Seth’s music hit.

Bron Breakker jumped Rollins from behind in the entrance way and started beating him down. Breakker finished Seth off with a spear, leaving him lying as the crowd chanted “one more time”.

Backstage, Liv Morgan asked Roxanne Perez what Finn Balor was doing in the clubhouse last week. Morgan asked why Perez didn’t mention it to her, and Perez said she should have said something. Liv made Roxanne promise not to keep any more secrets from them. This led directly into the first match of the night.

Balor vs. McDonagh

Finn Balor vs. JD McDonagh was up first, in a rematch from just two weeks ago on Raw in which Balor won in just over six minutes. McDonagh controlled the early portion of the match, with Dominik Mysterio throwing in cheap shots behind the referee’s back. Roxanne Perez came down to the ring as the show went to commercial break. Upon return, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez also appeared as Balor began mounting a comeback. McDonagh then attempted a Spanish Fly, but Balor did not rotate fully and landed on his head and upper back. Balor set up for the Coup de Grace, and the referee saw Dominik knock Balor off the top rope and ejected him. Liv Morgan jumped onto the apron, distacting the referee and allowing Roxanne Perez to hit Balor with the ring bell hammer, and JD picked up the win.

Seth Rollins was interviewed backstage and said he would be fine in time for Backlash this weekend, and he warned that Breakker should have finished the job.

Backstage, The Vision was comparing Seth Rollins to a duck. Logan Paul piped up, saying he was going to permanently hospitalize Joe Hendry. Heyman said Logan Paul was not facing Joe Hendry tonight; Austin Theory was.

Penta & Evans vs. Page & Rusev

The second match of the night saw Intercontinental Champion Penta teaming up with Je’Von Evans to take on Rusev and Ethan Page. Early on, the face team took it to the heels with their high-flying moves, leading to Penta hitting the Penta Driver for a near fall as the show went to commercial. Afterward, Rusev had taken control, beating Penta down. Rusev went after Evans on the outside, but Evans leapfrogged him, sending Rusev into the stairs. Page made his second attempt at Twisted Grin of the match, and for the second time, he was denied. Je’Von continued his aerial assault on Page and Rusev, and for a third time, Page was unable to hit Twister Grin. Evans then set up for a splash on the announce table, but Ego stopped him. Rusev slammed Penta on the announce table, and Ethan Page hit a suplex, pinning Penta.

Sol Ruca & Becky Lynch

The next segment was the official contract signing with Sol Ruca joining the Raw brand. Before Ruca could sign, Becky Lynch interrupted, saying this was supposed to be her time for her Championship celebration. Ruca called Becky a “rude, big-headed bitch” and with that, Sol signed the contract, and Becky went to punch Ruca but nailed Adam Pearce. Ruca then attempted to hit the Sol Snatcher on Becky, but stumbled a bit and was able to recover, mostly covering up the mistake.
