The first-ever WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event will go down later this year.

WWE will head to the StateFarm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on September 6 for Sunday Night’s Main Event, it was announced today.

While WWE usually presents its quarterly SNME TV series on Saturday nights, they’re making an exception for the upcoming Labor Day Weekend card in Atlanta.

Recently, WWE had planned to visit New Orleans during Labor Day Weekend for Money in the Bank. However, the company announced Monday that the annual Premium Live Event (PLE) would instead take place in October.

The event will be WWE’s second trip to Atlanta this year. They visited the city on the Road to Wrestlemania 42, presenting a February episode of Raw which brought out an attendance of 11,000.

WWE now has two SNME events on its schedule. The promotion is expected to visit Madison Square Garden in New York City next month for SNME.

Atlanta notably played hosted to an episode of SNME last year, a card headlined by Goldberg’s retirement match against Gunther.
