Aaron Wolf has reclaimed the NEVER Openweight Championship.

Wolf avenged his past loss to Ren Narita on Sunday night, defeating him to once again earn champ status during NJPW Dominion 6.14 from the Osaka-jo Hall in Osaka, Japan.

A Uranage followed up by an Angle Slam was the combination from Wolf which earned him the pinfall victory over Narita this weekend in nine minutes.

The decorated Judo player had to overcome classic House of Torture antics before the win, suffering numerous setbacks earlier in the bout due to illegal attacks from the faction. Narita’s entourage was eventually driven away from ringside by Konosuke Takeshita and Toru Yano, who came in for the save.

Olympian turned professional wrestler Wolf has been feuding with the House of Torture faction since he made his in-ring debut earlier this year.

Wolf captured the NEVER Openweight Championship from now-WWE talent EVIL at Wrestle Kingdom 20 inside the Tokyo Dome in his first-ever wrestling match. He dropped the belt to HoT member Narita just a month later, suffering a shocking two-minute loss as part of New Beginning in Osaka.

Sunday was Wolf’s first time vying for the belt since he lost it earlier this year.

Narita defended his title once during the reign, defeating Boltin Oleg at Wrestling Dontaku last month.
