Watanabe has spent the better part of half a year out of the wrestling spotlight. Apart from a one-off appearance on a STARDOM show two months ago, Watanabe hasn’t wrestled since November 2025, stepping away from the ring to recover from injuries.
The 26-year-old said on Sunday that she is cleared and ready to return.
Watanabe’s return is coming just around the corner from STARDOM’s annual 5STAR Grand Prix tournament, which is set to kick off next month. The HATE member won last year’s tournament, her first-ever time taking the round robin trophy, and should likely be back this year to try and defend that position.
