CM Punk and Cody Rhodes will again meet face-to-face on Friday’s final episode of WWE SmackDown before SummerSlam.
The show takes place at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Punk will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Rhodes on the first night of SummerSlam. The two exchanged words during last week’s SmackDown after previously teaming against Gunther and Sami Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The WWE Tag Team Championship will also be defended in Green Bay. Damian Priest and R-Truth face AAA Tag Team Champions Erik and Ivar of the War Raiders in a champion-versus-champion match, although only Priest and Truth’s titles will be at stake.
Giulia will meet Lash Legend in the final qualifier for the five-woman ladder match that will crown an interim WWE Women’s Champion at SummerSlam. WWE created the interim title because of an injury to champion Rhea Ripley.
The winner will join Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Charlotte Flair and Chelsea Green in the ladder match. Stratton and Cargill qualified on July 17, while Flair and Green secured their places the following week.
