Stephanie Vaquer regained the WWE Women’s World Championship in her home country of Chile on Saturday, defeating Liv Morgan at an untelevised WWE event in Santiago.
Becky Lynch served as special guest referee for the title match at Movistar Arena, playing a decisive role in the finish.

Video from the closing moments showed Lynch and Morgan getting into a heated argument, including Morgan slapping Lynch, before Morgan hit Oblivion and covered Vaquer. Lynch counted to two, then stopped and held up both middle fingers at the champion rather than completing the count.
Vaquer subsequently hit the SVB and the top-rope Vaquer Inferno to pin Morgan, with Lynch counting the three to award the championship to the Chilean wrestler.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque acknowledged the title change, writing: “History made in Santiago tonight…. Chile’s own Stephanie Vaquer is the NEW @WWE Women’s World Champion!!!”
WWE also posted footage of Vaquer’s celebration, describing it as “an unforgettable night for Chile’s very own.”
It is Vaquer’s second reign with the Women’s World Championship.
Her first began when she defeated IYO SKY for the vacant title at Wrestlepalooza in September 2025. Morgan ended that reign at WrestleMania 42 in April, with assistance from Judgment Day members Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
Vaquer received another opportunity on Monday’s Raw, but Morgan again retained following Judgment Day interference. Perez passed the championship belt to Morgan, who used it against Vaquer before hitting Oblivion.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce subsequently announced another title match for Saturday’s event in Santiago and named Lynch as the special guest referee.
Morgan retained against Vaquer at Friday’s WWE live event in Buenos Aires, Argentina, before losing the championship the following night.
