Former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has re-upped on his agreement with WWE.

Rhodes, who is currently on a media tour promoting the upcoming Street Fighter movie, revealed in a recent interview that he re-signed with WWE.

“I just re-signed with WWE,” Rhodes said on Andrew Schulz’ Flagrant podcast. “So, I’ll end my wrestling career with WWE … But also, my wrestling career with WWE might continue because we are now, I just spoke to the New York Times about this, and this was such a great moment to share this, we are now able to go and do this stuff [like movies]. So say I do have another project, say I got two other projects, whatever it may be, I’m able to take a step away and I’m able to collaborate with WWE and come back home.”

When will that end come for Rhodes? He’s not too sure. But, he mentioned that he wants to take a step back from entertainment someday so he can focus on being a father figure for his two children.

“I don’t know when settling down is, but I can say this: My parents were there for everything, pretty much, at the time they needed to be there for everything,” he said. “So I’d say like eight years old on through everything, every game, every event, booster club, all those things, I loved that they were there … I’d love that for my two girls. So with that, it means I need to get to work.”

Rhodes did not reveal any details regarding the length of his latest WWE deal. He re-joined the WWE roster in 2022 following a multi-year run in AEW.
