Positive news was shared by the family of Jim Ross on Wednesday.

Ross’ daughter told podcaster Conrad Thompson on Wednesday that his second brain surgery was successful.

“I just heard GREAT NEWS from Jim Ross’ daughter,” Thompson said on X. “Procedure went well. He is in recovery right now. Will hopefully be heading home around 3.”

Ross announced earlier this week that he would be returning to the hospital for a second procedure on his brain. The most recent visit was to “address an issue with my shunt,” he wrote on Monday.

Ross previously underwent brain surgery in August to remove fluid. Shortly following the surgery, the AEW commentator was at home and planning his return to the desk. The 76-year-old had eyed possibly appearing at the All Out pay-per-view last month, although the plan didn’t materialize.
