Mini Vikingo will challenge Rey Fenix for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship at Héroes Inmortales later this month.

Vikingo defeated Jack Cartwheel, Joaquin Wilde and Nobu San in a four-way number-one contender’s match on Saturday’s edition of AAA.

The match closed the broadcast from Domo de la Feria in León, Guanajuato.

After a sequence that included Vikingo diving onto Cartwheel and Wilde on the floor, he returned to the ring and hit Nobu San with a Phoenix 630 Splash for the pin.

The October 24 match will be a rematch from Verano de Escándalo, where Fenix successfully defended against Vikingo in August.

Vikingo earned that opportunity by defeating Cartwheel and Dragon Lee in another contender’s match in July.

He had another Cruiserweight Championship opportunity at TripleMania 34 last month, when Fenix retained in a four-way also involving Cartwheel and Nathan Frazer.

Saturday’s result completes the three championship matches so far announced for Héroes Inmortales.

As previously reported, Dominik Mysterio will challenge El Grande Americano for the AAA Mega Championship, while Los Perros del Mal will defend the World Trios Championship.
