*A BLOCK: Yoshinobu Kanemaru over Master Wato in 8:33
*A BLOCK: Kosei Fujita over Clark Connors in 13:32
*A BLOCK: Robbie X over Hiromu Takahashi in 15:54
Hiromu Takahashi, Master Wato, Francesco Akira, Clark Connors, and Kosei Fujita ended the tournament with ten points each. However, Fujita beat all four in their respective matches and won on a tiebreaker to advance to Sunday’s final.
Fujita stayed alive by beating Clark Connors on Tuesday with the Nemos Special submission. He still required Hiromu Takahashi to lose, which is what happened in the main event as Robbie X won after hitting the X Xpress and pinning the four-time BOSJ winner.
Yoshinobu Kanemaru spoiled Master Wato’s chances by working over his knee throughout their match and winning with a figure-four after smashing the knee with a whiskey bottle.
Akira clung to the top of the leaderboard after defeating KUSHIDA in an excellent match, which showcased a great grappling sequence at the end. KUSHIDA was fighting to apply the Hoverboard Lock but could not get the grip as Akira fought the submission and applied the Ground Tarantula and submitted KUSHIDA.
Fujita will await the winner of the B Block, which will be determined on Thursday.
El Desperado, YOH, and MAO are on top of the block with ten points each, while Nick Wayne, Robbie Eagles, Taiji Ishimori, and SHO have eight points each. The final matches feature Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Kevin Knight, Titan vs. Nick Wayne, MAO vs. SHO, El Desperado vs. Robbie Eagles, and YOH vs. Taiji Ishimori.
