A four-way match jam-packed with WWE talent has been booked for AAA Triplemania XXXIII next month.

AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo will put his belt on the line in a four-way match on August 16, taking on Dragon Lee, Dominik Mysterio, and El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser).

The bout was made Friday night after an event in Mexico City, where Vikingo issued an open challenge to anyone for his title. Answering the call for the match were Americano, Lee, and, in a shocking appearance, Mysterio.

Mysterio, disguised under a hoodie and mask, jumped both Lee and Vikingo while they were in the ring. Once revealing his identity, the Monday Night Raw talent expectedly received a big reaction from the Mexico City crowd.

It was announced later in the evening that all four will face off at AAA’s marquee show next month, which is scheduled for Arena CDMX in Mexico City.

The matchup underscores how much WWE wants to integrate talent into AAA, a promotion they announced earlier this year that they would acquire. While WWE talent have worked numerous AAA shows now and even gained tag titles, the upcoming matchup is the first time that talents from the top promotion will appear in the main event of a Triplemania, the Mexico-based brand’s biggest show of the year.

Earlier in the night, Americano won his AAA debut, picking up a victory against Octagon Jr. The card also included a tag win for WWE talents Nattie Niedhart and Lola Vice, who prevailed in a three-way bout.
