Drew McIntyre has said he is “stranded” in England ahead of SummerSlam after being turned away at an airport.

On social media, McIntyre described showing up at check-in after a stay in England for a friend’s wedding. He said that because he did not have his United States passport with him, only his UK one, he was turned away.

His wife went back to the US without him, he said, to care for their unwell cat.

He then blamed Jelly Roll for the whole incident, claiming that he had used his “connections” to stop McIntyre from getting back to America to train for his SummerSlam match.

McIntyre is slated to team with Logan Paul to take on Jelly Roll and Randy Orton on Saturday, August 2.

Although the Jelly Roll involvement is fanciful, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson has stated that the incident is legitimate and that WWE is currently helping to deal with the travel issue.
