A frequent stop for AEW will host the promotion’s final pay-per-view of 2025.
The NOW Arena, a venue in Chicago, Illinois, which has hosted many prominent AEW events in the past, will be where Worlds End 2025 takes place on December 27, the promotion announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Worlds End has served as AEW’s final PPV of the calendar year since 2023, when it first debuted. Along with world title matchups, the show has presented the grand finals to the promotion’s annual Continental Classic tournament.
AEW presented a four-hour “Beach Break” TV special from the NOW Arena in May. The upcoming event will be the fourth PPV event from AEW to take place in the venue. The NOW Arena is also notably where the first-ever All In, which happened prior to the formation of AEW in 2018, took place.
Chicago has been a well-fed market for AEW this year. Along with the Beach Break show and now an upcoming pay-per-view, the company is also on the tail-end of a multi-week residency at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, which will continue this evening with Dynamite.
Tickets for Worlds End will go on sale September 8, with pre-sale opportunities starting as early as September 2, per a press release issued by the promotion.
