Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions after defeating Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez at SummerSlam.

Challengers Flair and Bliss came to the ring first, with the “allies of convenience” of recent weeks seeming happy to be teaming together.

Bliss and Perez started things off, but only after the heels knocked Charlotte off the ring apron.

Charlotte was soon tagged in and went after Perez, but Rodriguez hit Flair while the referee was unsighted.

Rodriguez and Perez then exchanged rapid tags to keep control of Flair in their corner.

Finally, a hot tag was made to Bliss, who had the better of Perez until Rodriguez interfered, leading to a long period of peril for Alexa.

Upon getting the tag, Flair immediately scaled the corner and dived onto both heels. She then ran roughshod on Rodriguez and Perez, delivering a moonsault onto both. This led to a near-fall on Rodriguez.

An attempt at the figure-four was broken up by Perez. As all four women fought, Bliss accidentally blasted her own partner.

Things looked bleak after Perez hit Pop Rox, but Bliss broke it up with a snap mare.

Charlotte took out Rodriguez, allowing Bliss to hit Sister Abigail on Perez for the win.

The new champs, reluctantly at first, celebrated their win.
