NJPW and STARDOM’s “Historic X-Over” series is heading to China.

It was announced on Wednesday that NJPW and STARDOM will head to the Damai 66 Livehouse in Guangzhou, China, on October 5 for an event. The card sees the two Japanese promotions in collaboration with INFIN Wrestling, a China-based promotion which has run events since 2021.

It has been announced that Master Wato, Ninja Mack, KUSHIDA, and Zack Sabre Jr. will all appear as part of the lineup. STARDOM has billed Starlight Kid, Saori Anou, Natsupoi, and Miyu Amasaki among those making the trip to China.

NJPW and STARDOM first debuted Historic X-Over in 2022, providing a supercard which included special cross-promotional matchups. The show returned last year in Osaka, headlined by a tag match which saw Maika team with Zack Sabre Jr. to overcome El Desperado and Starlight Kid.

This year’s card will see Chinese talent booked alongside talent from both STARDOM and NJPW.

While past Historic X-Over cards have drawn thousands, 7,000 in 2022 and 3,500 in 2024, the upcoming show is being held in a much smaller concert hall.
