We Deserve It
SmackDown from Dublin kicked off with hometown hero and Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, who got a massive reaction. Becky noted this was the first-ever televised event from Dublin. The crowd chanted “we deserve it,” and Becky talked about coming to WWE Live events in this arena when she was younger. Lynch then turned on the crowd, saying they don’t deserve to be on TV. The crowd immediately started chanting “We Want Lyra,” and Becky said she won’t ever get a chance at her belt again. Becky brought up Katie Taylor (the boxer), Barry Keoghan (the actor), and Bono (from U2) as bad Irish citizens. This brought out WWE Champion Tiffany Stratton.

Stratton played to the crowd and told “Rebecca” to leave, but then Nia Jax interrupted and promptly attacked Stratton. This prompted Jade Cargill to come out, and she took out Jax. Becky then attempted to sneak up on Cargill but Jade caught her. This brought out Nick Aldis, who made a tag team match between the four as their main event. The streak of Aldis not having main events planned until the show starts continues.
ANNOUNCED: Becky Lynch & Nia Jax vs. Jade Cargill & Tiffany Stratton is the MAIN EVENT of tonight’s SmackDown.

Backstage, Fraxiom approached Carmelo Hayes, complimenting him on his. match last week and warned him about The Miz. Miz interrupted, and Hayes defended him vehemently. In the background, the Wyatts leered at both teams.
Melo Don’t Miz vs. MCMG
The first match of the evening was Motor City Machine Guns taking on Carmelo Hayes and The Miz. Much like last week, Miz and Melo had communication issues, leading to MCMG knocking Hayes into Miz. Hayes then hit a lungblower on the Machine Guns, and then Miz stole the pinfall. It was noted that Miz and Melo would go on to SmackDown next week for a #1 Contender’s match.

Jimmy Uso was interviewed backstage and talked about his and Naomi’s big announcement from Monday. Sami Zayn entered and congratulated Jimmy. Solo Sikoa and his MFTs entered and said they would be the Uncles to Jimmy’s baby. Sikoa suggested naming the baby “Solo,” and Jimmy said, “No Yeet”. Sami said that Solo was dealing with “WrestleMania main eventer” Sami Zayn, and he was coming for the United States title. In the background, Uncle Howdy and Rowan could be seen watching this interaction.

Charlotte Flair vs. Piper Niven
Next up was Charlotte Flair taking on Piper Niven with Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre in her corner. Joe Tessitore noted that Alexa Bliss was not medically cleared to be there after the attack last week. At one point, Charlotte pointed at Green and did a crotch chop before hitting a Moonsault off the top rope onto Niven for a nearfall. Charlotte got Niven into the Figure Eight, but Green and Fyre interfered behind the referee’s back. Niven then hit the Michinoku Driver for the win. A tag champion pinned? Never heard of that before. Hmm.. wonder what might happen next?
Later in the show, it was announced that Charlotte & Alexa would defend their titles against Piper Niven & Alba Fyre next week.

Backstage, Kiana James and Giulia were talking when Michin interrupted and wanted a title match. James said that Michin had to go through her first. Giulia said she wasn’t worried. In the background, Nikki Cross creepily watched on from a staircase.

John Cena and Logan Paul
Next, John Cena came out to a huge pop, and the crowd sang along with his theme. Before Cena could speak, Logan Paul interrupted, and the crowd chanted “fuck you, Logan” as the Netflix censors attempted to bleep it. Logan Paul complained that no one could hear him with the bleeping happening. Paul continued, exclaiming that he had been wrestling for four years, which was longer than half of the people on the roster. Cena complimented Paul, saying that he is a future champion and future WrestleMania main event. He then dumped over the Prime table and said that Paul was using WWE as a branding opportunity to buy another Pokémon card. Cena then noted that Paul had wrestled twenty-three matches, and he’s been wrestling for twenty-three years.

Cena concluded by saying he would beat the “ever-loving shite” out of Paul (which was not bleeped), and then Cena hit the AA on Paul as the segment ended.

Afterwards, backstage, Logan Paul ran into Drew McIntyre, and McIntyre said Paul was scared of John Cena. He gave Logan Paul a pep talk and told him to make this right, “whatever it takes.”
Elsewhere backstage, Tiffany Stratton complained to Jade Cargill that she didn’t need her help. Jade said after they beat Becky and Nia, she’s coming for “her” title.
Street Profits vs. The MFTs
Next, The Street Profits took on Tonga Loa and JC Matero, and it was announced that the winners would face Melo Don’t Miz in the #1 Contender’s Match next week. Of course, Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga interfered behind the referee’s back, but the Profits were able to persevere. Jimmy Uso then appeared and hit Talla Tonga with a chair, which he no-sold. Talla then wrecked Uso and fought him into the crowd. Sami Zayn then appeared and took out Solo Sikoa before escaping into the crowd. The Profits picked up the win with the From the Heavens frog splash, and they will face Melo Don’t Miz next week.
Later in the show, it was announced that Sami Zayn would get his United States title shot against Solo Sikoa next week.

Aleister Black vs. R-Truth (or not)
R-Truth appeared via video and announced that he had accidentally flown to Dublin, Georgia, instead of Dublin, Ireland, and would therefore be unable to attend tonight. Instead, he announced his replacement as Damian Priest. Priest charged the ring, but for some reason, the referee didn’t ring the bell, and the two started brawling all over the ringside area. Officials separated the two, and they brawled to the back.
Joe Tessitore then announced that there was somehow STILL no medical update on Cody Rhodes. What kind of doctors does Cody have that they have no update whatsoever? Drew McIntyre then appeared at the announce desk and inquired about the lack of a medical update. Drew called Cody “a little bitch” and said Cody has no friends left in WWE. Randy Orton then appeared out of nowhere and hit an RKO, well, out of nowhere. Apparently, Orton is still friends with Rhodes.

Main Event
The main event of the show was the aforementioned tag team match with Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill taking on Becky Lynch and Nia Jax. Early in the match, Stratton went for a dive off the top rope that Jax and Lynch didn’t quite catch her on, with Lynch getting a boot to the nose in the process. The announcers treated Jade and Becky squaring off as a “dream match” for some reason, so perhaps there are plans to build to that program at some point. The face team picked up the win after Becky Lynch took a powder and Stratton and Cargill hit their finishers on Jax for the win.
The Executive Producers’ credits then came up with six minutes left in the hour, so you knew something else was up. Nick Aldis approached John Cena in the back, who said he had just heard from Brock Lesnar. Logan Paul then nailed Cena from out of nowhere, and the show went off the air a full five minutes early.
