AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) will appear for CMLL on September 12, 2025, at the historic Arena México.

CMLL announced the booking during the August 27th episode of its CMLL Informa talk show. The duo is scheduled for the promotion’s traditional Friday night event in Mexico City.

Bandido and King captured the AEW World Tag Team Titles on Sunday at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view in London.

This appearance marks a return to CMLL for both performers. King last wrestled in Arena México at the AEW Grand Slam Mexico special.

Bandido, in addition to his tag team duties, is also the reigning ROH World Champion and has a title defense against Hechicero scheduled for ROH Death Before Dishonor.

Also on CMLL Informa, Persephone issued a challenge to AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné. Persephone, who was part of the four-way match for the TBS title at Forbidden Door, challenged Moné to a match in Arena México, which she called her “house.” Moné also holds the CMLL World Women’s Championship.
