Andrade issued his first message since his exit from WWE was reported.
Andrade (Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza) was recently released by the company, with the news reported shortly after it was noticed he had been moved to the alumni section of WWE’s site.
On Monday, the performer posted “Thank you” on his social channels.
Jon Alba of The Takedown at SI.com reported the release wasn’t a mutual decision nor a budgetary issue while adding that Andrade has “at least one wellness violation during his most recent WWE run” and was suspended without pay for the issue.
It ends Andrade’s second run at WWE, with the first occurring from 2015, and was released in March 2021. After wrestling in AEW until the end of 2023, he returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble in January 2024.
He last wrestled on August 3 at SummerSlam as part of the TLC match at MetLife Stadium.
