Mercedes Moné weathered an impressive challenge from Riho to retain her TBS Title at AEW All Out.

Riho frequently got the upper hand during a technically very sound match. While appreciative of what they seeing, it seemed that the crowd found were a little muted for the match. Perhaps they found a title change difficult to believe.

Riho controlled the early portion of the match, using high-flying offense that included double stomps to Mercedes Moné from the ring apron and the commentary table.

Moné countered by running Riho into the table before hitting a Meteora. The two traded control, with Moné attempting a superplex and the Three Amigos, which Riho countered by getting her knees up on the subsequent frog splash attempt.

For the finish, Riho attempted a Crucifix Bomb, but Moné used the referee as a shield. Moné finally won with a lungblower and the Moné Maker after raking the eyes of Riho.
