Orange Cassidy has been heavily teased for a return to action on the September 24 edition of AEW Dynamite.

The announcement was made during a backstage segment at Saturday’s All Out pay-per-view. It looks as though Cassidy will team with Mark Briscoe and Hologram to take on three members of the Don Callis Family in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

During the segment, Briscoe issued the challenge for the six-man tag team match. When asked who their third partner was, the camera focused on Kyle O’Reilly, who was on a phone call.

O’Reilly confirmed the partner’s participation with Cassidy’s signature thumbs-up gesture and a “Whatever”. The commentary team then all but confirmed the return.

The match will be Cassidy’s first in six months. He has been out of action since mid-March with a torn pectoral muscle.
