Stephanie McMahon was named as the first inductee for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026 during Saturday’s Wrestlepalooza premium live event.

The surprise announcement was made by The Undertaker, who entered the arena on his motorcycle before the show’s main event. McMahon was seated at ringside and was joined in the crowd by The Undertaker for the reveal.

After a brief conversation, The Undertaker formally announced her induction.

Are you ready? Because it is my esteemed honor to be able to induct you as the first member in the class of 2026 WWE Hall of Fame.

McMahon and The Undertaker embraced as the crowd cheered. On commentary, Michael Cole reacted to the news.

What an incredible moment. Stephanie McMahon and everything that she has done for all of us here in WWE over the years: the leadership she’s provided, getting in the ring, putting her body on the line. Always there for everybody. Stephanie McMahon deservedly will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

WWE President Nick Khan was then shown embracing an emotional McMahon.

The announcement is notably early, as WWE typically reveals its Hall of Fame inductees in the months leading up to WrestleMania.
