Jazmyn Nyx is reportedly on her way out of her NXT deal.
Reports from both PWInsider and Bodyslam.net have indicated that Nyx will officially part ways with WWE following the end of her current deal.
PWInsider specifically noted that Nyx turned down the first offer she was given by WWE, causing talks about a potential renewal to fall apart. When her deal is up, she’ll be free to appear anywhere.
Nyx, 27, was effectively written off TV on Tuesday’s episode of NXT, mysteriously getting attacked backstage. After allies Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley found her down and out, the duo decided to kick her out of Fatal Influence. “Only the strong survive,” Jayne said in the segment.
Nyx signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2022 following a brief career as a soccer player, playing on the West Virginia University women’s team, and having a stint for Iceland’s UMF Afturelding club. Her first wrestling match took place at an NXT house show in 2023.
After a brief run in the Chase U faction, Nyx left the group to form Fatal Influence alongside Jayne and Henley in early 2024.
Her time in the group would see her corner Jayne during her reign as both NXT Women’s Champion and TNA Knockouts World Champion. She made appearances on TNA TV, worked an NXT Premium Live Event (PLE) in 2024, and recently headlined a “Homecoming” episode of NXT TV in six-woman tag action.
