A short film focused on Canadian wrestler Aiden Prince and Maple Leaf Pro owner Scott D’Amore will head to a film festival later this month.

“Wrestling Life,” a 16-minute documentary directed by Luis Jimenez, will air as part of the Windsor International Film Festival’s “Local Shorts” slate on October 31, as announced this week.

A 40-second trailer for the documentary uploaded to social media shows the film following Windsor-born wrestling figures Prince and D’Amore, both seemingly focusing on pivotal parts of their careers.

For Prince, the documentary details confronting an injury which called into question his future as a wrestler: “I landed and felt a pop, which was my fibula … I love this world, I love being Aiden Prince. If I can’t do this, what can I do?” he says in the trailer.

The film also features D’Amore, who launched Maple Leaf Pro last year, just months after his departure from TNA Wrestling.
