With the help of countless fellow House of Torture members, EVIL kicked off his fourth reign as NEVER Openweight Champion on Monday night.

EVIL picked up a pinfall win in 11 minutes against Boltin Oleg at NJPW King of Pro Wrestling 2025 at Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan, beginning his latest reign with the midcard title.

As is usually the case in House of Torture matches, EVIL’s pathway to victory came via numerous dirty tactics from allies within his faction. After attempted attacks from SHO, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Yujiro Takahashi, and Dick Togo, an appearance late in the bout from DOUKI with a metal pipe finally helped EVIL pick up the win.

The attack from DOUKI led to an Everything Is EVIL from EVIL, earning him the pinfall in 11 minutes.

The most intriguing part of the segment arguably came in the post-match when Olympic Judoka turned NJPW talent Aaron Wolf made a run-in, taking out numerous House of Torture members and going face-to-face with EVIL.

Wolf, who won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Judo, is expected to make his professional wrestling debut at Wrestle Kingdom 20 in January 2026. It now seems likely that his first-ever match could come against EVIL, as teased in a recent digital post from the promotion.

EVIL’s prior reign with the belt took place in 2024, when he held the belt for 77 days before dropping it to Shingo Takagi.

Kazakhstan’s Oleg dethroned Konosuke Takeshita back in June to earn the NEVER title. He defended it twice during his reign, overcoming Yuji Nagata and Don Fale.
