Lady Leigh appeared earlier this year on WWE LFG, a reality TV show which saw contestants from various sporting backgrounds attempt to earn an NXT contract. Representing bodybuilding, Leigh did not win on the first season.
She would continue to wrestle briefly following the first season of LFG, making a few appearances on EVOLVE and working a pair of NXT house shows.
News broke earlier this month that Leigh would be among the numerous cuts WWE made to their developmental roster. Shortly following her departure, Leigh made it clear that she intends to continue wrestling: “I’m not giving up, Jin Tala may be no more. But Leigh Laurel has always been a fighter.”
