Red Velvet returned on Thursday’s episode of Ring of Honor, stating she is cleared to return and issued a challenge.
Velvet has been out of action since June and last wrestled in a match with Kira at Arena México on CMLL’s Fantastica Mania Mexico card.
During her absence, ROH created an interim version of the Women’s Television Championship rather than stripping Red Velvet of the title. The interim version was won by Mina Shirakawa on July 11 at Death Before Dishonor, and she just lost the title to Mercedes Moné this past Saturday at WrestleDream.
It was a back-and-forth battle at #AEWWrestleDream, but @MercedesVarnado came out on top to become the Interim #ROH Women’s World TV Champion.
However, reigning champion @Thee_Red_Velvet has a lot to say about it!

Velvet appeared on Thursday’s episode to state that she had been cleared and issued a challenge to Moné while displaying her championship, which she had never lost.
The interim title is the 12th title that Moné has won and is slated to challenge Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s Championship on November 22 at Full Gear.
