Hangman Page addresses The Opps
AEW World Champion Hangman Page opened the show with an in-ring promo. Page stated he gave Samoa Joe a title match at WrestleDream because he owed him for his help against The Death Riders.
Page said that Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs became the very thing they claimed to hate when they attacked him after his clean victory. He concluded that Joe made a mistake by thinking he was the hunter, promising that Page was now hunting Joe and would “ruin his life.”

PAC vs. Tomohiro Ishii
In the opening contest, PAC was accompanied by fellow Death Riders members Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir. The group interfered throughout the match, aiding PAC in his assault on Tomohiro Ishii’s shoulder.
Yuta eventually hit Ishii with a Busaiku Knee on the arena floor. This allowed PAC to hit a running lariat back inside the ring for the pinfall victory.
Thekla vs. Mina Shirakawa
Thekla defeated Mina Shirakawa by submission. During the match, Julia Hart and Skye Blue made their way to ringside.
Later, Hart and Blue created a distraction on the apron, allowing Thekla to hit Shirakawa with a spear. Thekla followed up by applying the Death Trap submission for the win.
Nixon Newell debuts
A backstage interview with Tay Melo and Anna Jay regarding the new AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament was interrupted by Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize.
Newell, who wrestled as Tegan Nox in WWE, referenced a 2019 match against Melo in NXT. Newell and Alize challenged Melo and Jay to a match, which the pair accepted. No date was announced for the bout.

$400,000 Eight-Man Tag Team Match
The main event saw FTR and The Young Bucks team up for a chance to win $400,000. They faced the combined team of JetSpeed (Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight) and Jurassic Express (Jack Perry & Luchasaurus).
The match featured miscommunication, including FTR and The Young Bucks accidentally striking each other. The finish came when JetSpeed scored a double pinfall, with Bailey pinning Dax Harwood and Knight pinning Cash Wheeler at the same time.
