NXT equaled last week’s all-time low in the 18-49 demographic, airing against Game 4 of the World Series.
The October 28 episode of NXT averaged 527,000 viewers and 95,000 viewers (0.07) in the 18-49 demographic on CW.
The numbers were nearly identical to last week’s audience of 525,000 viewers and 0.07. Both weeks represent the lowest 18-49 audience in the history of the program since launching on the USA Network in September 2019.
NXT ranked last among all network programming over the two hours while airing against Game 4 between the L.A. Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays. The World Series game averaged 14,520,000 viewers and a 3.05 rating in the key demo on Fox. The game peaked between 10 – 10:15 p.m. ET with 16,695,000 viewers.
The Fox Deportes coverage of Game 4 averaged 281,000 viewers and 0.07 in the 18-48 demo.
NXT followed Halloween Havoc with a show featuring three women’s championship matches as Tatum Paxley, Kelani Jordan, and Kendal Grey defended their respective titles.
Next week’s show will indicate where the show will settle after the conclusion of the MLB playoffs under the new Big Data + Panel method, which began with the September 30 episode.
